The Ethics of Insufficiency: Maintaining Ethical Standards in a Broken System (3 CEs)

This event offers 3 CEs for PA professionals holding LSW, LCSW, LPC, LMFT licenses and fulfills the mandate for 3 CE's in Ethics. This event is also approved for 3 CEs for PA Licensed Psychologists.

In a world where systems are being dismantled, needs are great, and the desperation is relentless, navigating ethical guidelines can be difficult. Together we will explore how the feeling of insufficiency when facing great needs threatens our ethical practice and how we can rely on the code to guide us.   

By the end of this training participants will be able to: 

1. Identify the threats and dangers that a failing system that causes desperation in clients and organizations can cause for staff attempting to work within ethical guidelines.

2. Recite how the Code of Ethics can safeguard their practice and guide their efforts to address these challenges.

3. Relay how this information can be integrated into their own practice and settings.
