Navigating Contentious Relationships with Colleagues (2 CEs)

It is not uncommon for social workers to leave workspaces because of challenges with fellow colleagues rather than because of their clients or work.  This event explores the common causes of tension in the workplace among colleagues and some strategies to navigate them toward resolution and repair.  We will review strategies for repair, responding to triggered responses and self-regulation.  

By the end of this training participants will be able to:

1. Relay the common causes for discord between colleagues practice settings.    

2. Recite the strategies for navigating and quelling reactivity and triggered responses between colleagues.

3. Explain their thoughts and ideas for integrating prevention and repair strategies into their personal practice and settings.
